About the role:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of projects across the whole portfolio of GCI products. The position requires a skilled individual who has the ability to provide effective communication – both internally and externally – with all relevant personnel.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all the contractual commitments are delivered against, and that the overall service expectation to the customer is exceeded (where possible) in terms of time, cost and quality. A customer-centric culture is paramount within the Order Management Team.

The Project Coordinator will be expected to support the Service Transition Manager in the following areas:

  • Service Level Management
  • Capacity Management
  • Contingency Planning
  • Third-party Management
  • Cost Management
  • Project Forecasting

Scope Indicators:

Project Coordinators are responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle and management of communications, documentation, project metrics, quality, risk and governance. They will perform against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibility Areas:

Delivery –  Management of projects in the deployment of standard, complex, bespoke and strategically important solutions comprised of the GCI product portfolio for both new and existing customers, in accordance with PRINCE2 methodology

Commercial Awareness – Ensures the commercial commitments are delivered against customer contracts

Stakeholder Management – Requires skilled individuals who have an ability to provide effective communications – internally and externally – with all the relevant personnel

Resource Management – Ensure appropriate resource management within your projects to enable the successful delivery of service

Communication Management – Ensure communication strategies are followed, both internally and externally

Technical Competence

  • Previous experience of managing multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced Service Provider environment is essential
  • An understanding of IT and Telecommunications is advantageous
