Best Use of Technology to Improve Business Performance

GCI Derby, GCIs Managed IT arm, are proud to have been nominated as a finalists for the ‘Best Use of Technology to Improve Business Performance’ award by the Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce.

Labelled as the only awards in the region that are delivered purely by business for business, The East Midlands Chamber’s Business Awards aim to recognise, reward and celebrate business innovation and excellence across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Twenty-three organisations in Derbyshire, 25 in Nottinghamshire and 19 in Leicestershire have been selected across ten categories in each county this year; an indication of the strength and success of the private sector in the Midlands.

The winners from each county will then go on to compete in the British Chambers of Commerce’s regional business awards for the East Midlands, with the chance to progress into the BCC’s national awards in November.

Paul Hayes, Managing Director of GCI Derby comments, ‘The past 12 months have seen continued growth for GCI Derby and we are delighted to gain recognition for this. At GCI our ambition is to be the preferred all in one IT supplier for businesses, and it is imperative for us to offer the very best technology advice based on the idea that our clients too want their own business to prosper.  We are extremely proud of what our team has achieved in such a short space of time.’

The prestigious awards take place on Thursday 17th of September at The Roundhouse in Derby.

GCI Derby would like to wish everyone nominated the best of luck.
