Leading Managed Technology Services Provider GCI wins Growth Partner of the Year Award at Sonus’ EMEA Partner Summit.

9th November 2017 Amsterdam, Holland: Hosted at the NH Amsterdam Centre, Sonus’ EMEA Partner Summit is an event that highlights the growing opportunities for the partner community in meeting demand for real-time communications solutions, such as Microsoft Skype for Business.

GCI are delighted to announce the win of the Growth Partner of the Year Award at this year’s Summit. An exacting achievement requiring stringent proof points from partners, including the delivery of a high number of Skype for Business deployments and Sonus Session Border Controllers (SBCs), the award signifies the progress GCI have made in 2017 – a year that has seen two major acquisitions take place and a second successful Headline Sponsorship at Future Decoded. Sonus’ SBC sits at the heart of the Skype for Business solution, performing a number of key functions that both enable the Enterprise Voice functionality and the migration from the legacy PBX.

Having recently surpassed the 200,000 mark for Skype for Business seats, GCI continue to enable more flexible ways of working for customers in a variety of sectors. Most recently, GCI’s SfB projects have included Prospect – a trade union with 141,000 members – and Dimensions, one of the country’s largest not-for-profit organisations who are in the process of deploying 1,750 Skype for Business seats with GCI.
