For standardisation, all cabinets are provisioned with dual power feeds from the main resilient distribution boards, with each one being fitted with two intelligent C13 Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
GCI operate monitoring of true Volts, Amps, kVA, kWHr across all datacentre facilities, with data being captured via the GCI management platform and closely monitored for operational function and capacity planning purposes.
UPS farms are employed to provide power resilience to the primary site power feed. These systems are configured in an N+1 structure to maintain the operational load of the datacentre whilst the on-site backup generators start and reach operational load.
Each facility can continue on generator-backed operation for a number of days using on-site fuel reserves backed up by a continuous fuel supply contract, ensuring optimal resilience against any operational issue.
