The early stages of a transformational journey
Multi-award winning GCI, one of the UK’s leading Managed ICT Service Providers, today announces the appointment of Mike Constantine as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mike joins GCI’s Senior Leadership Team alongside recently appointed CEO Adrian Thirkill.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Adrian Thirkill stated, “GCI has been something of a sleeping giant in recent years. We are now at the early stages of a transformational journey and the appointment of senior technical leadership of Mike’s calibre is another piece of the jigsaw that has now dropped nicely into place. Mike and I worked together at Easynet for the best part of seven years, before that Mike was with Reliance Globalcom and Cisco. He follows the recent appointment of Phil Hambly as Marketing Director. Steadily, piece-by-piece, we are building our new senior leadership team (SLT) as we prime for growth.”
Thirkill continued, “Mike brings a sure-footed instinct and palpable passion for technology development. His many years in the industry have revolved around solutions consultancy and solutions shaping and that will be invaluable as GCI re-focuses its portfolio to align with the current and future business challenges faced by our customer base.”
