Who should attend: IT & Technical Decision Makers, Business Owners, Managing Directors

Organisations implement technology to increase productivity, grow market share, improve customer loyalty and comply with regulations amongst other reasons. However, when it comes to security measures, is your IT ecosystem being pro-actively monitored and protected? Who would you turn to in the event of a breach? The average cost of a UK security breach rose by 8% over the past year to nearly £2.7m*. Most alarmingly 66% of businesses admit to making no changes to their policies or systems to help prevent security breaches with potentially catastrophic consequences. Let’s looks at the stats:

  • You could go out of business- 60% of SME’s that suffer a successful cyber-attack are out of business within 6 months
  • The risk of attacks is high - 65,000 attempted attacks are undertaken EVERY DAY in the UK
  • Breaches come from multiple sources however 88% of breaches in the last year originated from HUMAN error, with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) a major influence on this

So, is it time to overhaul your security strategy?

Ideal for organisations who want to educate and implement best cyber-security practice in their organisations, GCI’s exclusive workshop will demonstrate the tools and best practices required to detect, prevent and effectively manage security breaches through strategy and technology adoption. You’ll also learn about current security trends and how to handle them, and the next steps you can take to enhance your organisations security using a multi-layered approach.
