GCI solution helps Accent Housing win “Best use of technology” industry award

GCI is pleased to announce that its customer Accent Housing has received major recognition for its achievements in transforming the way it has used technology to serve its tenants.  Backed by the National Housing Federation, the HANA (Housing Association National Accountancy) Awards are the only awards of its type directly geared towards excellence in the Housing Finance sector.

GCI is proud to have helped Accent Housing on its way by deploying GCI Contact Centre, a solution designed to improve and streamline the Contact Centre experience. The solution is based upon Microsoft Skype for Business and is revolutionising the way businesses collaborate and communicate.

Mike Ayres, CCO at GCI explains: “With GCI, customers like Accent can ensure that the customer/agent has the capability to capture all interactions, regardless of channel. In relation to agent numbers, our solution enables customers to manage their own agent volumes geared around their workload, not license purchases. The GCI solution just flexes up based on utilisation, and we manage the licenses and technical aspects for Accent, allowing them to focus on their business requirements.”

Since 1966, Accent has provided homes and services for a diverse range of customers, including those in acute housing need, taking their first step onto the housing ladder, wanting a solid base to bring up their family, and those needing homes and services that support them to age well and live independently for longer.
