GCI wins Best Enterprise ICT Solution Award

GCI is pleased to announce that last night it won “Best Enterprise ICT Solution” at the Comms Business Awards for its work with Dimensions, one of the country’s largest not-for-profit organisations geared towards helping those with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour, and complex needs. Hosted at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel and presented by Peep Show star David Mitchell, the highly-prestigious Comms Business Awards are dedicated to Channel partners which sell solutions directly to end users. The “Enterprise ICT Solution” category is specifically geared towards large deployments of 500 users+.

The judges specifically look for success stories, technology advancement and disruption for end users, but also for individuals who have made a genuine impact on the market from within these companies. Stories come no more “human” than Dimensions; with over 7000 members of staff supporting people and their families across 750 sites, Dimensions plays an active part in helping communities UK-wide.

GCI was appointed to complete a 72,000-line item project across its 750 sites as Dimensions shrunk its 40+ “suppliers” to just one strategic partner in GCI that – in Dimensions’ own words – “truly understand its needs, culture and desired outcomes.” The result has been a complete network overhaul and the implementation of Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams at all sites, as well as an 80-seat Contact Centre from leading customer communications experts, Enghouse Interactive. The fully-scalable, omni-channel Unified Communications solution not only affords the company greater cost savings, but also offers an improved overall interactive customer experience; with its Service Users typically having special needs and often being visually or hearing impaired, joining up their methods of communication makes it much easier for Dimensions to quickly assist them.
